Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal now lies over South Andaman Sea. It is likely to intensify over Central Andaman Sea during next (36)hrs.
General caution
Due to the low pressure area, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States and isolated in Naypyitaw with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts during (1.4.2021) to (5.4.2021).
