30-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “FENGAL” over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 755 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 50 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai and 55 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea.

According to the (14:30) hrs M.S.T observations today, the water levels of Ayeyarwady River at Seiktha and Hinthada are observed as about (2½) feet below their respective danger levels. The water levels may reach their respective danger levels during the next (3) days.

It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying area at Seiktha and Hinthada Township to take precaution measure.
