29-11-2024: BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 665 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 230 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and over the Bay of Bengal.

Flood condition of Chindwin River

       According to the (10:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Chindwin River at Homalin has reached its danger level. It may continue to rise from the present water level by about (3) feet during the next (2) days and may remain above its danger level.

Advisory

       It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying area in Homalin Township, to take precaution measure.
