25-11-2024:According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and further intensified into a Depression. It is centered at about 725 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 570 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Flood condition of Ayeyarwady River

   According to the (10:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of AyeyarwadyRiver at Seiktha has exceeded by about (½) foot above its danger level. It may remain above its danger levelduring the next (2) days.

   According to the (10:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of AyeyarwadyRiver at Zalun has exceeded by about (3) inches above its danger level. It may continue to rise from the present water level by about (½) foot during the next (2) days and may remain above its danger level.

   It is especially advertised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Seiktha and Zalun Township to take precaution measure.
