Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm
According to the observations at (22:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm "FANI" over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards and intensified into a Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm "FANI". It is centered at about (260)miles East-Northeast of Chennai(India), (270)miles Southeast of Machilipatnam and (275)miles South-Southeast of Vishakhapatnam. It is forecast to move Northwestwards.
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm is coded yellow stage.
