29-11-2024: BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 665 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 230 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (16) miles east of Paukkhaung), latitude 18.93°N, longitude 95.79°E, depth (10)kilometers about (42) miles west of Taungoo seismological observatory was recorded at (16)hr (13)min (19)sec M.S.T on 5^th October, 2018.
