25-11-2024:According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and further intensified into a Depression. It is centered at about 725 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 570 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (21) miles west-northwest of Matupi), latitude 21.67°N, longitude 93.12°E, depth (71) kilometers, about (73) miles southwest of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (03)hr (14)min (55)sec M.S.T on 12th May, 2023.
