29-11-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards and has intensified into a Cyclonic Storm “FENGAL”. It is centered at about 680 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 160 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and 150 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (3) miles east of Myitnge), latitude 21.85°N, longitude 96.12°E, depth (3)kilometers, about (11)miles south of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (13)hr (29)min (13)sec M.S.T on 16th December, 2022.
