28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 725 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (25) miles southwest of Phyu), latitude 18.26 °N, longitude 96.13 °E, depth (29) kilometers about (95) miles north of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (14)hr (08)min (01)sec M.S.T. on 22^th January , 2018.
