01-12-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “FENGAL” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Southwestwards and crossed North Tamil Nadu coast near Puducherry(India) and downgraded into a Deep depression. It is likely to move continuously West-Southwestwards and crossing the interior of Tamil Nadu(India). The centre pressure of Cyclonic Storm is 994 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 50 miles per hour. Weather is cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (32) miles south of Kalewa), latitude 22.74°N, longitude 94.31°E, depth (69)kilometers about (46) miles east-northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (19)hr (41)min (14)sec M.S.T on 20th January, 2018.
