28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 725 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (21) miles Southwest of Phyu) about (105) miles North of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (10)hr (46)min (04)sec M.S.T on 12th January, 2018
