22-5-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off north Tamil Nadu-South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India still persists. It is likely to move northeastwards and intensify into a Depression over Central Bay of Bengal around 24-5-2024. Thereafter, it may continue to move northeastwards, further intensify and reach Northeast and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal around 25-5-2024 evening. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.7) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (21)miles north-northeast of Gangaw), latitude 22.48°N, longitude 94.18°E, depth (14)kilometers, about (48)miles east-southeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (06)hr (10)min (49)sec M.S.T on 14th July, 2021.
