28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 715 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

EARTHQUAKE NEWS

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar ( about (25)miles southwest of Phyu) latitude 18.23°N, longitude 96.17°E, depth (10) kilometers about (51) miles southwest of Taungoo seismological observatory was recorded at (20)hr (12)min (36)sec M.S.T. on 17^th June, 2018.
