28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 715 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar ( about (20)miles southeast of Tamu) latitude 23.98°N, longitude 94.50°E, depth (85) kilometers about (20) miles southeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (05)hr (42)min (31)sec M.S.T. on 6^th June, 2018.
