28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 715 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (20) miles south-southwest of Kale), latitude 22.91 °N, longitude 93.96 °E, depth (10) kilometers about (30) miles northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (02)hr (28)min (06)sec M.S.T. on 7^th February, 2018.
