Depression
According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards now lies over Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (695) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island, (765) Nautical miles West- Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (75) Nautical miles East of Chennai and (185) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Machilipatnam (India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Depression is coded yellow stage.

The Depression is located at Latitude (13.1) degree North and Longitude (81.5) degree East, centre pressure of Depression is (1003) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (30) miles per hour at (05:30)hrs MST today.
During next (12) hrs forecast
It is continue to move West- Northwestwards towards North Tamilnadu-Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) and weaken into a well marked low pressure area during next (12) hours.

Due to the Depression, squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
