According to the observations at (15:00)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Northwest Bay of Bengal off West Bengal (India)-Bangladesh Coast has moved North-Northeastwards and is crossing to West Bengal (India) and adjoining Bangladesh coast between Sagar Island and Khepupara.

The Depression has crossed over Land, thereafter it is forecast to move North-Northeastwards as a Land Depression.
General caution
Due to the depression, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States, with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavy falls and occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts during today evening to next (24)hrs.

Due to the depression, people should be aware heavy rainfall with strong wind, flash flood and landslide near the hilly areas and also small rivers.
