21-12-2024:According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal continues has moved East-Northeastwards. It is centered at about 510 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 230 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Visakhapatnam (India). The centre pressure of Depression is (1003) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (30-35) miles per hour. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and is crossing North Tamil Nadu- South Andhra Pradesh coasts, near Chennai, India. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over South Andhra Pradesh coastal and adjoining North Tamil(India) duing next 12 hours.
