Depression
According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Bay of Bengal almost stationary and still persists. It is centered at about (515) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island, (620) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (330) Nautical miles East of Jaffna (Sri Lanka), (355) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai (India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Depression is coded yellow stage.

The Depression is located at Latitude (10.0) degree North and Longitude (85.5) degree East, centre pressure of Depression is (1005) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (30) miles per hour at (12:30)hrs MST today.

It is likely move slowly West-Northwestwards and reach to Tamilnadu-Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) during next (48) hours.
General caution
Due to the Depression, rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State, isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States from today afternoon to (21.11.2022). Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
