Depression
According to the observations at (21:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression. It is centered at about (235) Nautical miles East - Southeast of Chennai and (225)Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry(India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the depression is coded yellow stage.
Position of depression, center pressure and wind
Depression is located at Latitude (10.6) degree North and Longitude (83.4) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (1000) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (32) miles per hour at (21:30) hrs MST today.
During next (24) hrs Forecast
The depression is likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross North Tamilnadu Coast and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh Coast (India) near Puducherryaround (11.11.2021).
General caution
Due to the depression, likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States during (10.11.2021) to (13.11.2021).
