Depression

          According to the observations at (08:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression and it is centered at  about (375) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry and about (395) Nautical miles South- Southeast of Chenn‌ai (India).

It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the depression is coded yellow stage.

 

 Position of depression, center pressure and wind

          Depression is located at Latitude (8.6) degree North and Longitude (85.2) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (1004) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (30)miles per hour at (08:30) hrs MST today.

 

During next (48)hrs Forecast

          The depression is likely to intensify into the Cyclonic Storm during next (24)hrs and move Northwestwards. It is forecast to cross near Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts on 25rd the November.
