Deep Depression

          According to the observations at (22:00) hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has intensified into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about (240) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry and about (260) Nautical miles Southeast of Chenn‌ai (India).It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Deep Depression is coded yellow stage.

          Deep Depression is located at Latitude (9.9) degree North and Longitude (83.3) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (999) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (35)miles per hour at (22:00) hrs MST today.

During next (48)hrs Forecast

          The Deep Depression is likely to intensify into the Cyclonic Storm during next (12)hrs and Severe Cyclonic Storm during next (24)hrs and move Northwestwards. It is forecast to cross near Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts on 25rd November.
