Deep Depression
According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southeast Bay and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about (185)miles Northwest of Portblair, about (565) miles East of Chennai (India) and about (215)miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Deep Depression is coded yellow stage.

Deep Depression is located at Latitude (13.0) degree North and Longitude (89.9) degree East, Centre pressure of Deep Depression is (1004) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (35-40) miles per hour at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today.

During next (6)hrs Forecast
It is forecast to move West-Northwestwards and it may further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next (6) hours.

General caution

Due to the Deep Depression, rain or thundershowers will be scattered to fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States within next (36) hours commencing today morning.

Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 - 10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
