SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and weather has been generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Chin, Rakhine and Mon States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayah and Kayin States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (11°C) in Hakha and (12°C) each in Namsam, Heho and Tongzan.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (13:30) MST today, the tropical depression over the South China Sea has crossed to the Southern Vietnam Coast. It is forecast to move Westwards and weaken gradullay.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20thNOVEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Kayin and Mon States.Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
