SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been fairly widespread in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Mandalay Region, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Magway and Bago Regions and Eastern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperature was (10°C) in Tongzan. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Northern Dagon (2.44)inches, Yangon(Kaba-aye) (1.61)inches, Tiddim (1.22) inches, Mingaladon (0.95)inch, Myaungmya (0.75)inch and Gyobingauk (0.51)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Westcentral Bay has moved to North-Northeastwards and reached over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (60)miles East of Visakhapatnam and (95) miles South- Southwest of Gopalpur (India).Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17thNOVEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, scattered in Taninthayi Region, Shan and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
