SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in (Eastern and Southern) Shan and Kayah States, Scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State, isolated in Mandalay, Magway and Yangon Regions and Rakhine State, weather has been generally fair in Kachin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Bago Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Mandalay Region, Eastern Shan, Rakhine and Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (10°C) each in Hakha and Tongzan. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Heho and Coco Island (1.97)inches each, Taunggyi (0.74)inch, Taunggu (0.59)inch and Bawlakhae (0.55)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30) MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Weather is a few cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th NOVEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in (Eastern and Southern)Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan, and Rakhine States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in Shan and Kayah States.
