BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th September, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, Northern Shan, Chin, Kayah State and widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, (Eastern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon State. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-11)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-8)feet in along Rakhine Coast.
