SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw and Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Southern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Kayin and Mon States, widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine States with isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Rakhine State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Taungkok and Mingaladon (3.18)inches each, Hkamti (3.15)inches, Manaung (2.64)inches, Mawlaik (2.25)inches, Putao and Northern Dagon (2.09) inches each, Sittwe and Yangon(Kaba-aye) (1.65)inches each, Maubin (1.54)inches, Minesat (1.46)inches, Myitkyina and Bago (1.41)inches each, Muse and Khayan (1.37)inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Rakhine States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin State.
