SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain has been isolated in Ayeyarwady Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Rakhine State, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Ramthlo, (5°C) in Heho, (6°C) each in Pinlaung and Tiddim and (7°C)each in Putao, Loilin and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Hainggyigyun (0.32)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th December, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
