SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Northern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Bago Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kyaukpyu (4.80)inches, Gwa (3.94)inches, Hkamti (3.90)inches, Ann (3.46) inches, Shwekyin (3.43)inches, Central Yangon (3.11)inches, Taungkok and Launglon (3.07)inches each, Shwegwin (3.04)inches, Madauk and Theinzayet (3.03)inches each, Northern Dagon (2.56)inches, Yangon (Kaba-Aye), Paung and Dawei (2.52)inches each and Kyeikkhame (2.40)Inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th JUNE, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
