SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and (Eastern and Southern)Shan States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (42°C) each in Myingyan, Nyaung Oo, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Sinphyugyun and Tharrawady. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Chaungsone (0.28)inch and Kawthaung (0.04)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25thAPRIL, 2018: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
