SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperatures in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Pinlaung, (6°C) each in Lashio, Namsam, Heho, Loilin and Moekok.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair in the Andaman Sea and partly cloudy in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th February, 2015: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State, weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan State, generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly wind may reach (30) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in the extreme Northern Myanmar areas.
