Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” Condition
According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, theCyclonic Storm” MANDOUS”over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about (630) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island, (730) Nautical miles West-Southwest ofHainggyigyun(Myanmar), (210) Nautical miles East of Jaffna (Sri Lanka) and (280) Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” is coded yellow stage.

The Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” is located at Latitude (9.8) degree North and Longitude (83.6) degree East, centre pressure of Deep Depression is (995) hPaand maximum wind speed near the center is (45-50) miles per hour at (13:30)hrs MST today.

It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and cross North Tamilnadu-Puducherry and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) between Puducherryand Sriharikota around morning of (10.12.2022).

Due to the Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS”, rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Bago,Yangon,Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States from this afternoon to duringnext (48) hrs.
