Cyclonic Strom

          According to the observations at (10:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and intensified into a Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR).It is centered at about (220) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry and about (245) Nautical miles Southeast of Chenn‌ai (India).

It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) is coded yellow stage.

          Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) is located at Latitude (10.0) degree North and Longitude (83.0) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (996) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (40)miles per hour at (10:30) hrs MST today.

During next (36)hrs Forecast

          The Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) is likely to intensify into a Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) during next (24)hrs and move West-Northwestwards. It is forecast to cross near Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts on 25th November.
