29-11-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards and has intensified into a Cyclonic Storm “FENGAL”. It is centered at about 680 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 160 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and 150 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

According to the observations at (18:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MICHAUNG” which crossed South Andhra Pradesh coast between Nellore and Machilipatnam and near Bapatla weakened into a Cyclonic Storm “MICHAUNG”. It is likely to move North-Northeastwards and gradually weaken into a Depression during next (12) hrs.

 This is the last news for the Severe Cyclonic Strom “MICHAUNG”.
