8-9-2024:: According to the observations at (10:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal has further intensified into a Depression. It is centered at about 355 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Sittwe, 420 Nautical miles West  of  Thandwe (Myanmar), 165 Nautical miles East of Kalingapatnam(India), 145 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Gopalpur, 140 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Paradip and 220 Nautical miles South of Digha. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
