13-9-2024:            According to the observations at (21:30) hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southeast Bangladesh coast has moved West-Northwestwards and further intensified into a Depression. It is centered at about 115 Nautical miles Northwest of Maungdaw, 160 Nautical miles Northwest  of  Sittwe(Myanmar), 30 Nautical miles Southeast of Patuakhali(Bangladesh), 120 Nautical miles East of Canning and 140 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Kolkata(India).  Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and vigorous elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
