25-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for  first (10) days of June 2020

                 The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (6-9) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu and  Katha, about (4-6) feet at Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and NyaungOo, and about (5-7) feet at Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (6-9) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (4-6) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
