24-10-2024: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “DANA” over Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards still persist over Northwest Bay of Bengal and it is centered at about 300 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Sittwe(Myanmar), 85 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Dhamara(India). The central pressure of Cyclonic Storm is 984 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 65-70 miles per hour.Weather is cloudy over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay, Westcentral Bay and South Bay and partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
