SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T. During the past (24) hours, light rain has beenisolated in Eastern Shan States, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, generallyfair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) above February average temperature inEastern Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Chin and Rakhine States, about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha,(3°C) in Putao, (5°C) each in Namsam, Loilin, Pyinoolwin and Moekok.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy in the South Bay and generally fair in the Andaman Sea and
elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 3rd February, 2015: Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago,Yangon
and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, and Mon State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Mon-
Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong wind may reach (30) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in
Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
