SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Sagaing Region and Southern Shan Sate, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.57) inches in Hinthada, (3.98) inches in Thandwe, (3.66) inches in Central Yangon, (2.40) inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), (2.28) inches in Labutta, (2.25) inches in Tharrawady, (2.17) inches in Kyaukpyu, (2.11) inches in Hpapun, (2.09)inches in Kyauktaw, (2.05) inches in Manaung, (1.89) inches each in Gwa and Launglon, (1.77) inches in Hlegu, (1.65) inches in Myauk U and (1.62) inches in Ann.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
