SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Chin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperature in Lower Sagaing Region, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Kayin State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-3°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Tiddim, (6°C) each in Kyaukmae, Falam and Pyinoolwin and (7°C) each in Heho and Loilin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th December 2023: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Chin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
