SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region and (Northern and Southern)Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in (Northern and Southern)Shan and Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (7°C) in Tiddim, (09°C) in Tongzan and (10°C) each in Putao and Falam.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area may form over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal on (27.11.2023). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on (29.11.2023). Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th November 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Shan State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region.
