25-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over South Bay of Bengal.  It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

EARTHQUAKE NEWS

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (12) miles north-northwest of Taik Kyi), latitude 17.49 °N, longitude 95.92 °E, depth (10) kilometers, about (45) miles northwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (18)hr (41)min (44)sec M.S.T on 13th  October, 2023.
