SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing and Yangon Regions. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (7.16) inches in Kani, (5.55) inches in Ye U, (5.10) inches in Patheingyi, (5.08) inches in Madaya, (3.93) inches each in Kanbalu and Mandalay (Chanayethazan), (3.74) inches in Pyinoolwin, (3.70) inches each in Mandalay(Chanmyathazi, Aungmya thazan) and Amarapura, (3.63) inches in Hmawbi(Agro-Met) and (3.50) inches in Singu.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions , fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in Kachin and Shan States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities in Southern Myanmar areas.
