23-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

 A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal and it may further intensify into a depression. Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal from Northern Myanmar Areas during (14-20) of September. Monsoon will be Moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain condition and Rainy Day

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in NayPyiTaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, below normal in Kachin State and about normal in Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (10) days in Upper Sagaing, East Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and  about (3) to (6) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, West Bago Regions and Kayah State.
