BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th September 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
