BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and it may further intensity into a depression during next (12)hours. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 01st August, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (45) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (10-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States
