BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha and West Bengal Coasts, India now lies over North Bay of Bengal still persists.Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 31st July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be sacttered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago Region and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (45) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (10-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
