29-11-2024: BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 665 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 230 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and over the Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.1) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Andaman Islands, India Region), latitude 10.61°N, longitude 93.24°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (472)miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (01)hr (53)min (45)sec M.S.T on 29^th July, 2023.
